What file formats can I upload?
USD (
.usd/.usda/.usdc/.usdz), Blender (.blend), MATLAB (.mat), PATH3 per-drone bundles (.path3), and SkyBrush or Crostars CSV bundles (.csv), and DAMODA shows (.jsdm). Bundles can be zipped - pack a folder of.path3files into a.zip/.7z/.tar.gzand drop the archive directly.Details in Help → Uploading shows.
What's the upload size limit?
8 GiB per file by default. Multi-file bundles count by total - same 8 GiB ceiling on the sum. If you hit it regularly, email us; we lift caps per-account on request.
How long does processing take?
Small shows (under 1 GB, no Blender) finish in seconds to a minute. A 500-drone, 3-minute
.blendis typically 1–3 minutes - most of that is the Blender bake itself. The card on the project page shows the live percentage and an ETA that stays correct even if you close the tab.My .blend file failed - what now?
The most common cause is a scene that doesn't expose drone positions in a shape the bake script recognises. The recommended setup is described in Help → Blender (.blend) scenes: one sphere mesh per drone, named consistently, with authored f-curves on location.
For dense shows (5000+ drones) we recommend exporting to
.csvfrom Blender first - it bakes instantly, where.blendcan take many minutes on the same content. Can I share a show without making the viewer sign in?
Yes - every project has a public share link (
/p/<…>), copy it from the project page. The visitor opens it directly, no account needed. You control which animations are visible per-project via the eye-toggle on each card. Can viewers download my original file?
No. Viewers see a streamed playback rendered in their browser - they never receive your
.blend/.usd/ etc. In fact, we delete the original on our side too once processing finishes.See Help → Privacy.
Do you keep my original file on your server?
No. Once your show is converted into the streamable playback format, the original is removed. We keep only the playback data, the analytics report, any audio you attached, and the share preview image. Studio IP that lives inside the source file (rigging, materials, drivers) never sits on our disks long-term.
How do I update the preview image people see when sharing?
Open the show in the viewer, position the camera the way you want it framed, and press the camera icon in the bottom-left action stack. The current view is captured and becomes the new social-card preview. Works from desktop and mobile.
The audio isn't playing - why?
Browsers block sound from auto-playing until you interact with the page. Click or tap anywhere on the player once, then play again. If the timing is off, the operator can tune the audio offset per animation - Help → Audio & sync offset.
How do I delete a project or a show?
On the project page, every animation card has a "✕" button - that removes the animation and frees its disk space immediately. Deleting the whole project happens from the project settings drawer. Both actions are irreversible and ask for a confirmation.
